I still haven't even finished penciling chapter 9 :/ I'm working on it, it's just going slow.
No real news on surgery either. They are supposed to call me to schedule and haven't yet.
I think most real animals would have just given up by this point, too much risk for too little reward. But animals/monsters in D&D and computer games will attack until their last health point. Occasionally you will get a game where enemies will run away when things get tough (Skyrim and fallout 4 for example) but more often than not they will go right back to attacking you a moment later.
I am LOVING the owlbear. Your work is one of my favorites. Been following your work since the beginning and have loved every one of them. I’m sorry you’ve been having such a hard time as of late. I just wanted you to know that I love your work.
