Twenty Five
I’m hoping at the rate I’m going I’ll at least have the script for chapter 11 done before we finish this one. Motivation is difficult to come by lately.

I feel you on the motivation thing. Sometimes writing requires you to keep plugging at it, even when you don’t feel inspired or motivated. Keep getting material written each day, even if it is only a little bit. Eventually you get past the block and the words flow again and that will feel awesome.
Drow going from the dark to bright sunlight, that’s going to take some getting used to 🙂
Motivation is funny, no matter how much paid ‘motivators’ and the cueless managers that fell for their hype hired them think you can be ‘motivated’ by someone telling you to be, it ‘don’t work like that’.
Maybe consider the fun you had the first time you made a comic and then see if you can capture that again, but forcing it only makes it worse.
Then again, what do I know ? I like the story and the artwork and still smile when I see an update, but if that update causes you to feel bad then I can wait patiently until it doesn’t.
I had this scene in mind of drow escaping the underdark and emerging in the desert, having to deal with heat, bright light and the endless sky. Also a drop in air pressure as well, pressure goes down as you go up. You’d have to a strong person to not have a panic attack at that.
Good detail with the Inuit snow goggles.
