I flat out refuse to look at anything on webtoons, tapas or now especially smackjeeves, their page presentation is horrible and I’m not ‘logging in’ to read anything.
ComicFury is much better, in my little opinion, in all regards and ‘adult’ stuff is alright there.
It’s your comic and your hard work, if you’re not doing something you want to because you’re afraid some hosting ‘service’ might get their panties in a bunch, find another host because they don’t have your art as their primary concern.
This isn’t a plea for ‘adult’ content, far from it, the majority of comics I read don’t have any, but if you think it’s necessary for the plot then it’s your story and how you tell and in what detail you make your art telling it, is entirely up to you.
Just please don’t resort to pixealting or censor bars or say “you can only read the real comic on Patreon”. I’d far rather see the story as told and drawn so far than that. Artfully placed obscuring scenery is one thing, whitewashing things with obvious strokes is a cheap ploy and the sign of a lazy or greedy artist, you aren’t either of those.
I’m not a huge fan of ‘BL’ but I do like this storyline and that’s what matters to me the most. Draw what you want and don’t let anyone tell you not to, the art and story so far more than make it worth reading.
