I haven't drawn Solaire in a while.
Everyone was very patient with the update shift so far. I hope its that people were patient and not that they weren't paying attention.
I'm starting on flats for chapter 13. I've done one character on every page and I need more sleep but hopefully will be able to do another before the end of the day.

I like that chainmail brush! It gets the point across without being tedious of doing weird things at the creases.
As to the updates: you are not the slowest updating webcomic I read. I’m willing to wait when the story is good (and it is). Pauses between chapters so you aren’t rushed or get burned out are worthwhile. I’m still getting the better end of the deal as far as I’m concerned.

Maybe experiment with putting the brush ‘strokes’ closer together ?
This is nice but it could also be taken for a floral pattern at first glance 😉
