I haven’t really had time to noodle on this idea since I drew this. Maybe I should just start writing like a script? As if it’s a linear story? IDK I’ve wanted to make a game for years but have no idea how to make one. I’ve played with RPG maker a little but have struggled to get it to do the sort of things I want.
Sounds amazing. For this kind of project, be sure to ask on the LemmaSoft forums. It’s a good community that’s been around for a while.
Wow I haven’t seen a phpbb forum in years. Looks like it’s mostly a ren’py forum? I’ll have to dig a bit before I can tell if it’d be a good fit for what I want to do or if I’d even be welcome there.
Ren’Py is the 800-pound gorilla of VN development, but any engine is welcome, and people there will be happy to help you pick the right one for you and your game.
