Inks are done! I'm going to spend the next couple of days working on the couple of commissions I've got at the moment and making sure I have stuff to post next week. Next week's updates will be a day late on account of family stuff.
Save some time and draw brigandine instead 😉 This looks like a nice padded surplice or overarmour coat to protect the chain a little more, a cloth covering was very common since it made identification a little easier and really did slow down arrows a bit.

unfortunately this particular guy has a canon outfit in his source material which does in fact primarily consist of visible chainmail lol
