So apparently Tapas's corporate owner just announced that they will be shutting it down. There's no official announcement on the Tapas site as of this writing, so hopefully there will be some time for artists to find new hosting and readers to find them elsewhere. I had my criticisms of the site but it's still a huge bummer to hear we'll be losing it.

This is not a staggering loss, maybe the artists will move to a site you can actually read.
I won’t click on any links leading to tapas or webtoons because I can’t stand dealing with their layouts.
I’ve probably missed some good comics that way but it saved what little of my sanity I have left.
It seems like the corporations just can’t figure out that if you make it too hard to read then people won’t bother and there’s no money in that so they end up losing business to ones you can.

All I want is for the latest page to show up on the screen with back and forth arrows to change pages in some semblance of order, like this one.
