Did my taxes the other day and oof did not love that. Really hammers home how poor I am and how many expenses I have.
Still struggling to draw. I’m trying to force myself to do at least a small sketch every day and they’re all a little off to my eye. Once I’m feeling better or at least more capable I’ll be looking for commission clients again.
I’m not doing taxes until the last day, as usual. I’m going to owe a fortune and they’re not getting it a day early !!
A tax ‘refund’ just means you either paid too much and the gov’t got the interest on that money instead of you, or you’re getting someone else’s taxes given to you.
Scrolling thru The Duck, ran across this again. Quite a lot of Plot since that line paused. Very curious to see what comes next.
As for taxes, I usually file mine as soon as I get my W-2, get it over with. This year, international company based in Israel is having issues, so no W2s yet.
They’re called T-4’s up here and I haven’t gotten any yet and likely won’t until at least mid-March…when they could have printed them on Jan 2nd…guess they don’t want the money that badly so I’m in no hurry to give it up.
