I'm very tired. GDQ is still on but I'm trying to get a little writing done and finish this one outstanding commission. Will probably open for more after.
In any RPG, the players would now be talking about tossing the captain overboard. This would only stop once someone pointed out none of them knew how to pilot a ship. Then and only then would they actually start talking about the problem and how to resolve it.
In most of the games I was in, the party would have already threatened to toss the Captain overboard and take their chances in a lifeboat if he didn’t smarten up 🙂
